THE PRODUCT

Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper

Each photograph is printed at a high resolution of 1200 dpi on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, renowned for its exceptional quality, distinctive texture and archival properties. This premium paper provides a refined foundation for presenting photographic artworks, enhancing their visual depth and artistic character.

Its carefully developed surface allows for the reproduction of intricate details, subtle tonal transitions and rich colour nuances. From delicate highlights to deeper shades, the paper helps preserve the visual complexity of each image, faithfully translating the artist’s vision into print.

The photographs are produced using pigment-based inks, valued for their excellent colour stability, precision and resistance to fading. This printing process supports accurate colour reproduction and helps maintain the richness and integrity of the image over time, when properly displayed and cared for.

The combination of Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper and pigment-based printing creates a sophisticated presentation that honours the artistic intention behind each photograph. Every print is conceived to reveal the nuances of light, colour and texture, meeting the standards expected of contemporary fine art photography and collectible photographic artworks.

Diasec®: Quality Fine Art Presentation

To enhance the visual depth and presentation of each artwork, Sandra Manso’s fine art photographs are finished using Diasec®, a pioneering face-mounting process that permanently bonds the photographic print directly to a clear acrylic sheet.

Developed in 1969, Diasec® is an established, trademarked process recognised for its exceptional quality and precision. The acrylic enhances light transmission and refraction, bringing greater image definition, brilliant colour and remarkable detail to each photographic artwork.

Mounted to high exhibition standards, each piece features a seamless, contemporary finish without the need for a traditional picture frame. A rigid aluminium or composite backing provides structural support, while a concealed aluminium sub-frame can create a refined floating effect when displayed on the wall.

The result is a sophisticated presentation that enhances the depth, colour and detail of limited edition fine art photography, bringing a distinctive gallery-quality finish to contemporary photographic art and luxury interiors.

Diasec®

Diasec® is a specialised face-mounting process that permanently bonds a photographic print to a clear acrylic sheet using a transparent, colour-neutral adhesive gel. Developed to meet high exhibition standards, this technique creates a seamless finish that enhances the visual impact of fine art photography.

The acrylic surface enhances colour saturation, contrast, sharpness and fine detail, creating a distinctive wet-look effect with exceptional visual depth. The finish is available in Gloss or Anti-reflective Semi-Gloss, allowing the artwork to achieve a refined, contemporary presentation.

A rigid Dibond® backing provides stability, while a concealed aluminium subframe allows the artwork to appear to float away from the wall, creating a striking three-dimensional effect without the need for a traditional picture frame.

The Diasec® process incorporates UV inhibitors and provides protection against dust, atmospheric pollution, fingerprints and mechanical stress. According to the supplied technical information, its light-resistance certification supports a lifespan of 100 years or more without significant colour fading, under appropriate conditions.

Combining visual depth, precise presentation and protective mounting, Diasec® offers a sophisticated finish for collectible fine art photography, suitable for private collections, galleries and contemporary interiors.

TRANSPORT AND PACKAGING

The Commitment to Perfection

Every artwork is carefully packaged to the highest standards to ensure optimal protection during transport and storage. The packaging is designed to safeguard each fine art photographic print against potential damage caused by impact, vibration, moisture and temperature variations.

Particular attention is given to the safe handling and protection of each piece, helping preserve its quality, presentation and integrity from dispatch to delivery. Every artwork is prepared with care to ensure it arrives in excellent condition, ready to be enjoyed in your collection or displayed in your space.

Secure Packaging for Larger Artworks

For larger artworks, we use high-strength plywood crates designed to provide robust protection throughout transport. This durable packaging helps safeguard each piece against the demands of handling and shipping, while maintaining the structural integrity of the package.

The wooden panels are reinforced with protective corner and edge guards, providing additional resistance to impacts and helping prevent damage during transit.

Each crate is secured with threaded screws and sealed with protective adhesive tape to help insulate and safeguard the artwork during transport. As the crate requires appropriate tools to open, we strongly recommend having these readily available before delivery to allow the packaging to be opened and the artwork inspected immediately upon arrival.

Inside each crate, precision-cut cushioning materials are carefully positioned to absorb shocks and vibrations. These protective layers securely hold the artwork in place, minimising movement throughout the journey and helping ensure that it arrives in excellent condition, ready to be displayed and enjoyed.

Delivery Inspection & Damage Reporting

Upon delivery, we strongly recommend opening the packaging and inspecting the artwork immediately, in the presence of the delivery person whenever possible. Please check both the packaging and the artwork carefully for any signs of damage sustained during transport.

Any damage must be reported immediately by email to Sandra Manso, accompanied by clear and detailed photographic evidence. Please include a thorough written description of the damage, indicating its nature, location and extent, together with photographs that clearly document the reported issues.

The photographic record should be as comprehensive as possible, including images of the external packaging, any visible damage to the crate or protective materials, the internal packaging and the artwork itself. Where relevant, please photograph the damage from different angles and distances to clearly establish its nature and extent. Retaining the packaging and all protective materials is also recommended, as these may be required during the investigation.

Detailed written information and clear, consistent photographic evidence are essential to support the notification to the carrier and facilitate the assessment and handling of a transport damage claim. Prompt reporting is therefore crucial to help ensure that the matter can be properly documented and addressed.
